The Word Is Not What

Most of us heard that God gives us power and imagined something coming down from heaven, landing in our hands, changing our circumstances.
But when you understand what koach actually means in its parts, you stop blaming yourself for being slow. You stop reading the wait as a sign that God forgot about you.
You finally understand why He gave it to you in the first place.
God Did Not Give You Koach
Because It Was Going to Be Easy
The ability God placed in you. Not finished. Something that grows as you use it. You may need to learn what you do not yet know. That is not a gap. That is the plan.
God gave you the ability to keep growing and keep taking in more than you think you can hold right now. The expansion is part of the assignment.
He gave you strength because there are days you will feel weak and want to stop. Strength is not the absence of hard. It is what carries you through it.
Some things take time because they require more of you. The endurance He gave you was never a punishment. It was a promise that you could handle how long this takes.
You already have everything this scripture describes.

When I found this I felt three things at the same time. Relief. Anger. And grief.
Relief because I finally understood. Anger because I had spent so much time waiting on something God already placed inside me. And grief because of the time I spent blaming myself or quietly blaming Him.
But then something shifted. I stopped reading my journey as delay. I started reading it as development.
The long road was never a sign the promise was broken. It was a sign the assignment was bigger than I knew.
